cusip, create, issuer

Q:  Which types of securities must be created manually in the product (cusip) form, as opposed to created automatically using an issuer in the ticket form?

A: If a security already exists for trading (ex. exists on bloomberg), then the cusip must be created manually in the product (cusip) form before attempting to create a ticket for trading that security..

    Ex. of Securities which must be created in the PRODUCT (cusip) FORM before creating a ticket::

        TSY, Euro

    Ex.of Securities which can be created using an issuer in the Ticket Form:

        Commercial Paper (CP)
