Q: I get the message "Exiting due to login error.  Could not find active user for xxx."

A: In order for a user to login, the user must have

• a valid user name to log into the database
• a valid transactor ID in afs:Trade

If you get the message above, the user already has a valid user name for the database.   In this case, the user successfully logged into the database, but afs:Trade cannot find a valid transactor id for that user.  To fix this problem, do the following:

• Log in as the afs:Trade administrator
• Create a new transactor for the user.  On the transactor form, set the value of the Login Name field to the user's database user name.
• Save the user.

Now, when the user logs in, afs:Trade will recognize the user's database user name.
