multiple connections, terminated due to disconnect

Q: I get the error "Net-Library operation terminated due to disconnect" or
    When I do an sp_who on our Sybase server, I see multiple connections per user.

A: Click on the Windows Start button and select Settings->Control Panel. Then double click on BDEAdmin.  When BDEAdmin comes up, click on the Configurations tab, and in the tab select Configurations->Drivers->Native->Sybase. One of the entries here is DLL32. The value can be either

• SQLSSC32.DLL 
• SQLSYB32.DLL 

The first one, SC, is the proper one.

The change needs to be made on each person's machine (i.e. registry).
